Presenter’s Bio: Stefanie Dziedzic has over 20 years of progressive leadership experience in the nonprofit, health and human services space. Among her many accomplishments, Stefanie worked for 10 years at Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network as a Requestor, was later promoted to Supervisor of the Requestor team and Manager of Donor Family Services. Stefanie has a deep personal connection to donation as a donor family member whose loved one gave the gift of life and sight and as a tissue recipient.
Stefanie’s fundraising background includes serving as the Director of Development for The Cradle and Cradle Foundation (a newborn and infant adoption agency) and as Director of Development for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Foundation. Most recently she served as VP of Development for Bulamu Healthcare, an international NGO focused on increasing access to high quality, low-cost public healthcare programs and services in East Africa.
Stefanie joined the Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin in January 2024, where she is working to increase stakeholder engagement and awareness, and increase funding for programs and services.
Stefanie holds a Master of Science degree in Thanatology (the scientific study of death and dying) from Marian University in Fond Du Lac, WI, a post-graduate certificate in Donation and Procurement Leadership from the Gift of Life Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE).
